We just got a sneak peek at an under-the-radar movie called Dawn Patrol, and in a word, it’s pretty-fucking-great. It stars Scott Eastwood (yep, Clint’s son) as a Marine who, with a gun pointed at his head, recounts the crimes and vengeful acts committed within a surfing community that led him to… having a gun pointed at his head. It’s also directed by Daniel Petrie, Jr., who wrote the original Beverly Hills Cop (!), so you know it’s going to be entertaining. Take a look at the trailer above to get a taste, but honestly, it doesn’t do it justice. You gotta see this thing. Dawn Patrol opens in theaters in select cities on Friday, available on iTunes VOD the same day.
